Privacy Policy — Flight Frame
Last updated: July 14, 2026
Flight Frame is designed to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what
information the app accesses and how it’s used.
What Flight Frame accesses
- Photos — to let you choose a photo to frame, and to save the finished image
back to your Photos library. Flight Frame only accesses photos you explicitly
select or save; it does not browse or upload your photo library.
- Camera — if you choose to take a new photo from within the app.
- Location — Flight Frame reads the GPS coordinates embedded in a photo’s
metadata (EXIF) and, with your permission, your device’s current location, to
help fill in flight details like departure city. Turning a coordinate into a
place name (e.g. “Mumbai, IN”) uses your device’s built-in location-lookup
service (provided by Apple or Google), which may send the coordinates to that
service to resolve the name.
What Flight Frame does not do
- It does not have a server or backend of any kind.
- It does not transmit your photos, flight details, or location to us or to any
third party.
- It does not include analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.
- It does not create an account, and it does not require or collect your name,
email, or any other personal identifier.
Data storage
Photos you edit, flight details you enter, and the app’s reference data (airline,
airport, and aircraft lookup tables) are all stored locally on your device. Nothing
leaves your device except the location-lookup described above, which is handled by
your device’s operating system rather than by Flight Frame itself.
